Niyaz Mohammed Khajah

Managing Director, NKCC

Former Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs, Amiri Diwan, State of Kuwait

Niyaz Khajah has directed the engineering affairs of one of the most demanding institutional portfolios in the Gulf region. As Assistant Undersecretary at the Amiri Diwan since 2014, she sets policy for new capital projects, oversees maintenance of national landmarks, manages budget estimation and procurement, and leads field supervision across all active construction and restoration programmes under the Royal Court's mandate.

Her portfolio spans more than nineteen major projects — from the completion and ongoing maintenance of Seif Palace, Kuwait's principal seat of government, to internationally recognised cultural landmarks including the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre and the Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Centre, the world's largest museum complex. Projects under her supervision have received major international recognition, including MEED Quality Awards, ENR Global Best Projects, and the ABB LEAF Award for Public Building of the Year.

This depth of experience across the full project lifecycle — procurement, contract formation, execution oversight, variation management, claims assessment, and final account settlement — is the foundation of NK's advisory practice. NK offers institutions, contractors, and engineering firms access to strategic counsel grounded in direct, senior-level responsibility for complex, high-value government programmes. [REVIEW]
